About Anitra Ash-Shakoor
Anitra uses her amassed skills and knowledge to help people with financial problems and emergencies get the relief they need. She has represented hundreds of individuals and married couples in chapter 7 and chapter 13 bankruptcy cases, and represents business debtors in chapter 11 cases. Anitra received her law degree (Juris Doctor), from Temple University Beasley School of Law in 2001, and her undergraduate degree from Morgan State University in 1998. In 2012, she formed her own law firm, Capital Justice, in Washington, D.C. and continued her commitment to serving those in financial distress.
