About Leslie Jane Boykin
In the summer of 2005, Leslie J. Boykin embarked on her journey in the legal profession, just under nine months after receiving her license to practice law in the State of Texas. Her passion for becoming a Criminal Defense attorney had been a lifelong aspiration, nurtured during her upbringing in East Texas. Raised in a family that deeply valued and exercised their right to vote, Leslie gained a profound insight into the workings of government.
She initially pursued Government studies at the University of Texas at Austin and relocated there shortly after high school graduation. However, she soon recognized her true calling lay in obtaining a bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, which she accomplished in 1999 at Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas. Subsequently, Leslie went on to earn her Juris Doctorate from South Texas College of Law in Houston, Texas.
For Leslie, standing between the Accused and the Government, while defending the Constitution, is the realization of a long-cherished dream. At our law office, we ensure that our clients receive representation from an attorney of the utmost ethical standards, providing services at reasonable fees and remaining readily accessible to our clients. Leslie Boykin is committed to pursuing the fairest, most just, and reasonable outcomes for her clients. She is licensed to practice in all State courts and in the Western District of the United States Federal District Court. Furthermore, she has completed the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA)/International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) Standardized Field Sobriety Testing Program (SFST) Instructor Course based on the 2015 curriculum.
