About LaJuanda Williams-Griffin
LaJuanda Williams-Griffin leads a multifaceted professional life as the proprietor of the Williams-Griffin Law Group, PLLC, overseeing a practice specializing in divorce, mediation, and family law situated in Jackson and Tupelo, MS. Beyond her legal expertise, she also owns D’Cracked Egg, LLC, a popular breakfast and brunch spot in downtown Tupelo. Her entrepreneurial ventures extend to real estate investment and property management, which she intertwines with her legal acumen, enriching her interactions with clients and customers.
Raised in Vicksburg, a small town in Central Mississippi, LaJuanda's upbringing as the middle child among three sisters, raised by a single mother, shaped her resilient character. Her journey began with academic excellence in the Vicksburg-Warren School District, culminating in her graduation with Honors from Warren Central High School in 1998. Her pursuit of discipline and purpose led her to enlist in the United States Army Reserves at 18, where she imbibed the values of perseverance, discipline, and the significance of working towards a defined mission.
Initially aspiring to excel as a news anchor, her trajectory changed when a graduate school professor recognized her potential in law. This insight led her to earn a B.S. in Mass Communications from Jackson State University before delving into law studies at Mississippi College School of Law, following a Master’s in Public Health and Health Policy (M.P.H.). Her professional achievements are extensive, notably marked by her role in the Mississippi Bar Leadership Class, authorship in the GP Solo publication of the American Bar Association, and recognition as one of Mississippi's Top Businesswomen by the Mississippi Business Journal. Notably, she received the Elite Lawyer for Mississippi in Divorce and Family Law in 2021 and 2022. LaJuanda's legal practice encompasses a broad spectrum of family and domestic matters such as child custody, divorce, and spousal support.
