About Carlos Trujillo

Carlos hails from San Antonio de los Altos, Venezuela, where he spent his formative years. At the age of 18, he made the life-changing decision to relocate to the United States, firmly believing that his dreams could be realized through unwavering dedication and hard work. This pivotal choice introduced him to a series of trials, obstacles, and triumphs, ultimately shaping the accomplished attorney he is today.

Carlos embarked on his academic journey at the LDS Business College, achieving a degree in Business and Accounting Certificate. His pursuit of knowledge continued at the University of Utah, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. While at the University of Utah, he undertook an internship with the International Rescue Committee (IRC) and garnered recognition for his exceptional contributions, receiving the prestigious Pete Suazo Award from the Hinckley Institute of Politics.

Carlos furthered his education at Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Michigan, where he graduated with honors, attaining the distinction of Cum Laude. The capstone of his educational journey involved a final semester working alongside the Honorable Judge Thorne in the Court of Appeals of the State of Utah.

Today, Carlos is a licensed attorney, authorized to practice law in the state of Utah, and he is an esteemed member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association. In his commitment to community engagement and education, Carlos occasionally makes himself available as a speaker for seminars.
