Oscar Rene Gutierrez practices law as a trial attorney with his father, Oscar H. Gutierrez, in Los Angeles. They litigate and try catastrophic personal injury, brain injury, and wrongful death cases across the state of California on behalf of injured victims. The vast majority of Oscar Rene’s legal work aids the monolingual Spanish-speaking community. He has successfully tried numerous criminal and civil trials to verdict.

In September 2018, Oscar Rene was recognized by LACBA in honor of Hispanic Heritage Month. In October 2019, he was recognized as an “Héroe de la Comunidad” by Univision-34 Los Angeles. In March 2020, he was honored by the Hispanic National Bar Association with their prestigious “Top Lawyers Under 40” Award. In 2021, Oscar Rene was nominated for the Consumer Attorneys of California’s (CAOC) “Street Fighter of the Year” Award.

Oscar Rene served as the 2019 President of the Mexican American Bar Association of Los Angeles County (MABA). He currently serves on the CAALA Board of Governors, the CAOC Board of Directors, and the Executive Committee for the Litigation Section of the Los Angeles County Bar Association (LACBA). Oscar Rene is also a “Founding 50 Member” of Justice HQ.
