About Gary M. Prince

Gary M. Prince, an attorney with over four decades of experience, joined the law firm in 1982. His legal practice is dedicated to three key areas: advocating for individuals who have sustained serious injuries, defending sheriffs, police officers, and governmental bodies in civil rights lawsuits, and engaging in general civil litigation. Over the course of his 37-year career, Mr. Prince has provided legal defense for hundreds of police officers and more than 40 sheriffs. Additionally, he has effectively represented educators in Knox and Blount Counties.

Gary received the "Top Lawyer" accolade in Tennessee from The Legal Network in 2013. The American Society of Legal Advocates has consistently honored Mr. Prince as one of the Top 100 Litigation Lawyers in Tennessee for the years 2018, 2019, and 2020. His legal practice encompasses admission to the State Courts of Tennessee, Federal Courts of Tennessee, the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the U.S. Supreme Court.

In his leisure time, Gary M. Prince generously contributes to his community. He has coached high school football and track, holding certification as a TSSAA coach. Additionally, he serves as a Sunday School teacher for a local children's ministry and actively volunteers with local charities, including the Dogwood Arts Festival and the Humane Society of the Tennessee Valley's "Hero's and Hounds" program, dedicated to assisting veterans.
