About Adam Dougherty
Mr. Dougherty's journey within the justice system commenced in 1993 when he was appointed as a corrections officer within the Arizona Department of Juvenile Corrections. Over time, he rose through the ranks, eventually serving as a Parole Officer III, responsible for overseeing the entirety of Pinal County, an expansive area encompassing approximately 5,300 square miles, extending between Maricopa and Phoenix to Pima and Tucson. Prior to his legal career, Mr. Dougherty also accumulated experience working with the Maricopa County Adult Probation Department, Maricopa County Sheriff's Office, and the Broward Sheriff's Office.
In his legal profession, Mr. Dougherty embarked on his journey with the Broward County Public Defender's Office, where he honed his trial skills and gained invaluable courtroom experience. His dedication and proficiency led him to handle major crimes cases, including multiple first-degree murder trials.
