About Bin Chen

A managing attorney with Hooton & Chen LLP, Bin Chen is a passionate attorney with ample experience in insurance law and workers' compensation. Previously, Mr. Chen has worked for large insurance carriers, and after being admitted to the Oregon State Bar, he began his legal career as a litigator for a firm focusing on workers' compensation defense. Today, he centers his legal services on workplace injuries and helps his clients to pursue all the benefits they are owed under the law including medical services, temporary disability benefits, permanent disability benefits, and vocational assitance.

Mr. Chen is a first-generation immigrant who is committed to his community and supporting others. Outside of the courtroom, Bin Chen spends time advocating for minority rights and the rights of people with disabilities. Having grown up in China until he was 16 and being one of the only attorneys in Oregon who can speak and write fluently in Chinese, Bin Chen has a great understanding of how much cultural differences impact workers' compensation claims and other injury legal matters.
