About Katelyn R. Morgan
Katelyn Morgan, commonly known as Katie, hails from Colorado and nurtured her ambition to become a lawyer from a young age. Following her high school graduation, Katie relocated to Flagstaff, attending Northern Arizona University. There, she excelled, achieving Cum Laude honors with a dual major in Criminology and Criminal Justice along with Sociology, accompanied by a Minor in Speech Communications. Her time at the university was marked by her dedicated involvement in the legal sphere, where she contributed to the Arizona Innocence Project by investigating wrongful conviction claims and gaining experience through an internship at a local criminal defense firm.
Post-graduation, Katie pursued her legal education with a scholarship, engaging actively within her law school community. She notably served on the Executive Board of the Student Bar Association and the Women’s Law Association. Recognized for her commitment to the school's core values, Katie was honored with the mission pillar award by her professors for embodying student-focused outcomes, readiness for legal practice, and dedication to serving underserved communities.
Currently, Katie holds a position on the Board of the Young Lawyer’s Division of the Arizona State Bar and is licensed to practice law in both Arizona and Utah.
