Ashley D. Marks, a Partner at Hankey Marks & Crider since 2011, initially joined the firm as a Law Clerk for a two-year tenure while completing her law degree. Specializing in Long Term Disability, Short Term Disability, Personal Injury, ERISA, life insurance litigation, and Social Security Disability, Ashley brings a wealth of expertise to her practice.

Her legal journey began at the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law, where she graduated in 2011. Before that, she earned dual Bachelor degrees in English and Philosophy from Indiana University. Ashley's commitment to legal excellence was evident during law school, where she interned with the Indiana University School of Medicine’s legal department. Notably, she served on the board for the International Moot Court Competition and earned recognition for the best overall written brief in the school’s 2010 annual competition.

Throughout her career, Ashley has received accolades for her legal prowess. The American Association for Justice recognized her as an Advocate, and in 2014, she was named one of the National Trial Lawyers Top 40 under 40. Continuously acknowledged as a Rising Star by Super Lawyers from 2015 to 2021, Ashley actively participates in various professional legal organizations. In her role, Ashley values attention to detail, compassion for others' needs, and diligence in client representation.
