Hailing from Nashville, Tennessee, and raised in Deer Park, Texas, Michael absorbed valuable lessons from his family about standing for justice, even when it involves difficult or unpopular decisions. As a licensed attorney in both Texas and Tennessee, he consistently applies these principles in his legal endeavors.

Within James Trial Law, Michael primarily concentrates on the litigation aspect of the firm's cases. He engages from the outset, meticulously preparing and planning each case as if it were destined for trial. With a background as a former teacher in Pearland ISD, Michael possesses a unique ability to communicate effectively with juries by presenting cases in a clear and sequential manner.

During his leisure time, Michael enjoys quality moments with his family, delving into do-it-yourself projects at home, and coaching his kids' soccer team. Celebrating two decades of marriage to his best friend, Michael and his spouse have four beautiful children, adding an extra layer of excitement to the James household, particularly with the presence of mischievous twin boys in the middle of the brood.
