About Stacy Crider
Stacy J. Crider holds the position of Partner at Hankey Marks & Crider, a role she assumed in 2010. Her primary legal focus encompasses Social Security Disability, Worker's Compensation, and Personal Injury cases. In 2009, she completed her law school journey, obtaining her J.D. from the esteemed Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law. During her time there, Stacy served as a student attorney at the Criminal Defense and Wrongful Conviction Clinic, representing clients pro bono in the Marion County D Felony Court, and contributing to wrongful conviction appeals. She also became a member of Phi Delta Phi, a prominent legal fraternity, and was selected as a pupil for the Indianapolis branch of the American Inns of Court.
Her academic background includes a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice with minors in Psychology and Political Science, earned at Indiana University. Notably, during her undergraduate years, she dedicated herself to the Innocence Project as a research assistant, a cause that continues to hold deep significance for her.
Stacy's lifelong aspiration to aid others led her to pursue a career in law. As a Social Security Disability attorney, she takes great pride in advocating vigorously for her clients, all the while maintaining a demeanor of compassion, honesty, and straightforwardness. Prior to joining Hankey Marks & Crider, Stacy honed her skills as a criminal defense attorney in Bloomington, Indiana. In June 2019, she embarked on a journey to Washington, DC, where she had the distinct honor of being sworn into the Supreme Court of the United States Bar. This admission granted her the privilege to file cases with the High Court. The swearing-in ceremony was an unforgettable experience, as she was inducted by all members of the SCOTUS, including one of her personal heroes, Ruth Bader Ginsburg.
