About Linda Farron Knapp
Linda Farron grew up in the Finger Lakes region of New York. A Regents Scholar, she later married Dennis C. Knapp, a former U.S. Navy submariner and engineer. Their journey took them through 22 relocations before they settled in South Carolina’s Thoroughbred Country. Linda pursued her legal education at the University of South Carolina School of Law, where she earned Dean’s Honor Roll recognition and became the first USC Law intern to clerk for the South Carolina Supreme Court under Chief Justice Jean Hoefer Toal.
After being admitted to the South Carolina Bar in 1991, Linda spent nine years as an associate attorney in general practice before transitioning to SC Legal Services. In 2003, she established her own firm, where she now focuses on estate planning, elder law, and probate. With a dedication to serving her community, Linda provides thoughtful legal guidance to individuals and families navigating complex legal matters.
