Christopher “Doc” Upshaw is an Associate at Sanchez Hayes & Associates, LLC with a wide-reaching practice that spans criminal defense in municipal, state, superior and federal courts throughout Georgia. He works to protect the rights of defendants charged before those entities as well as offers legal counsel for many civil matters such as false arrest or police brutality cases. Mr. Upshaw has made significant strides towards protecting individuals who need assistance navigating complicated issues within the justice system.

Mr. Upshaw is a graduate of Tulane University School of Law where he served as Director of the Criminal Division for their Legal Assistance Program and practiced in their Civil Litigation Clinic, providing legal aid to criminal defendants in New Orleans, and advocating on behalf of those seeking affordable housing. He also obtained his B.A from the prestigiousUniversity Honors program at The University of Alabama where he studied Political Science and Spanish as part of Blount Undergraduate Initiative.
