About Emily Rapp

Emily Rapp, a partner at McSwain Rapp Law, LLC, serves clients in Kane, DuPage, Will, and Kendall counties, as well as in appellate courts. She brings a wealth of experience to her legal practice, particularly in family law.

Emily has held leadership roles in various legal organizations, including serving as President of the Kane County Bar Association and Chair of the Family Law Section for the DuPage County Bar Association. She has also contributed as Chair of the Solo, Small Firm, and Technology Committee for the Kane County Bar Association and participated in the Illinois State Bar Association’s Family Law Committee.

An accomplished speaker and writer, Emily has presented at seminars for the Illinois State Bar Association, DuPage County Bar Association, and Kane County Bar Association, focusing on family law topics. She has also contributed to legal publications, including a chapter on the Parentage Act for the Illinois Institute for Continuing Legal Education.

Recognized for her excellence, Emily has been named a “Super Lawyer” since 2022. Earlier in her career, she was honored as an “Emerging Lawyer” in 2016 by Leading Lawyers, a distinction given to exceptional attorneys under 40.
