About Richard Straughn

Richard Straughn began practicing here after graduating from the University of Florida Levin College of Law joining his father Jack Straughn. Richard has a strong dedication to community and has served as president on the boards of various local non-profits. Some of the boards he has served on include the Greater Winter Haven Area Chamber of Commerce, Winter Haven Hospital, Mid-Florida Medical Services Foundation and Polk Community College Foundation. He was humbled to receive the Winter Haven Banker’s Cup “Man of the Year” award recognizing his service to the community.

Richard’s practice areas have evolved over the years, currently, his practice is focused on real estate, commercial litigation, and business law.
