About Jinnifer Mariman

Jinnifer, originally from Libby, Montana, attended Montana State University on a women's basketball scholarship. After earning her degree, she worked in Washington, D.C., as a legislative assistant for Senator Max Baucus. Growing up in Libby and witnessing the effects of asbestos exposure in her community drove Jinnifer to pursue a career in law. While attending law school, she was the head law clerk for the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Portland, Oregon, where she prosecuted federal misdemeanors. After law school, Jinnifer started her legal practice in Bend, Oregon, handling complex cases in commercial, business, estate, and tribal law. In December 2011, she returned to Montana and later became a partner at a local firm, focusing on civil disputes involving property, professional negligence, estate, business, and local government matters. In April 2018, Jinnifer took on a role as a partner at McGarvey Law, where she assists the people of her hometown, particularly those affected by asbestos-related illnesses. Jinnifer lives with her husband, Gabe, and their two daughters, enjoying and sharing with them the rich, natural beauty of Northwest Montana.
