About C. Suzette Ellis-Hoyle

C. Suzette Ellis-Hoyle, originally from Atlanta, was admitted to the Georgia Bar in 1986 and began practicing law in New York in 1990. She earned her B.A. in psychology from Emory University in 1983 and her Juris Doctorate from Tulane Law School in 1986. Ms. Ellis-Hoyle started her career with a prominent litigation firm in Atlanta, working in both state and federal courts. She expanded her practice to include mediation services in 1993 and is a certified mediator registered with the Office of Dispute Resolution for Civil and Domestic Mediation.

Ms. Ellis-Hoyle is an active member of several bar associations, including the DeKalb, Gwinnett County, and Atlanta Bar Associations, as well as the Family Law Section and Workers’ Compensation Law Section of the State Bar of Georgia. She is also a member of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association and the New York State Bar. She was awarded an “AV” rating by Martindale-Hubbell in 1996, a peer-reviewed indication of the highest level of legal ability and ethical standards, which she has maintained for over twenty-seven years. Additionally, she has been recognized as a Preeminent Woman Lawyer and a Georgia Top Lawyer by Martindale-Hubbell.
