About Julie A. Franklin

Attorney Julie A. Franklin, a pioneering first-generation lawyer, is committed to delivering justice for all. Born and raised in Georgia, Attorney Franklin earned her bachelor's degree in Political Science from the University of Georgia in 2008 and her J.D. from New England Law in 2011. She is licensed to practice law across several federal jurisdictions, as well as in New York, Massachusetts, South Carolina, and Georgia.

Julie has served as general counsel for corporations and provided services in areas such as bankruptcy, wills, estates and trusts, business organization, civil litigation, complex probate litigation, and some criminal defense matters. She has a particular background in federal bankruptcy law, focusing on individual and corporate Chapter 7 and 13 filings. Additionally, her practice includes handling landlord/tenant disputes and consumer protection cases, with roles including Guardian Ad Litem in Boston Housing Court and Chatham County Superior Court.

Attorney Franklin serves as Of Counsel at the Law Office of Jeffrey M. Frankel in Quincy, MA, focusing on bankruptcy, real estate, and landlord tenant matters. Previously, she was the managing attorney at Affordable Law Group, MA. A member of the South Carolina Bar Association, Georgia Bar Association, and New York Bar Association, Attorney Franklin is actively seeking unique volunteer opportunities in Savannah, Bluffton, Hilton Head Island, and nearby regions to continue aiding as many individuals as possible.
