About Christopher J. Palmer

As the son of divorced parents and a father myself, I have personally experienced the challenges of separate households and the broad spectrum of emotions that accompany family disputes. This personal background, combined with witnessing the difficulties faced by my clients, fuels my dedication as an attorney. I strive to make a positive difference in the lives of those I represent, navigating them through one of the most challenging periods they may face.

With over 15 years of legal expertise, including a focused practice on family law for more than five years, I travel extensively along the Oregon coast. My mission is to assist clients in resolving their divorces and establishing child custody and parenting time arrangements that prioritize their children's well-being and their own goals. I engage deeply with my clients, helping them understand their legal options and devising strategies to manage the complexities of family law challenges. My approach is highly personalized; I treat my clients like family, ensuring they have a clear and supportive path forward.

I'm fortunate to share my life with my wife, Jen, and our two sons, Austin and Ryan. Originally from California, I moved to Oregon's north coast to be closer to family and have since embraced it as my home. I earned my law degree from the University of Oregon and am actively involved in the family law sections of both the American and Oregon Bar Associations. Additionally, I contribute to the Local Family Law Advisory Committee and serve as the Secretary of the Clatsop County Bar Association, committed to serving the communities of Clatsop and Tillamook counties.
