Douglas Kniskern, a respected attorney in the greater Fort Lauderdale area, practicing in estate planning, probate, trust administration, marital agreements, closely held business succession planning, and tax issues related to trusts and estates. With over four decades of experience in wills, trusts, and estates law in South Florida, Mr. Kniskern handles a wide range of matters, from simple to complex. Mr. Kniskern earned his B.A. from Emory University in 1968. After four years of service in the Navy, he returned to Emory and received his J.D. in 1975. He went on to earn his LL.M. (Master of Laws) in estate planning from the University of Miami School of Law in 1978. Licensed to practice in Florida since 1975, Mr. Kniskern was also admitted to practice before the United States Tax Court in 1978. He is a member of the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section of the Florida Bar and the Probate Law Committee of the Broward County Bar Association.

Dedicated to giving back to his community, Mr. Kniskern volunteers his time and resources to organizations such as Goodwill Industries of South Florida, Family Counseling Services of Greater Miami, Inc., and Women in Distress of Broward County, Inc., among others.
