About Rachael E. Reese
Rachael Reese graduated from Stetson University College of Law in 2014 and passed the Florida Bar Exam on her first attempt. Immediately after, she spent a decade mastering post-conviction and appellate criminal matters before deciding to establish her own firm. The desire to become an attorney has been a lifelong ambition, intensified during high school following her family's experience with divorce. Witnessing the challenges of such a situation inspired a commitment to help individuals navigate difficult circumstances and mitigate the associated pain and negativity. Initially focused on becoming a family law attorney, this goal shifted during her second year of law school when she interned at a previous firm.
Rachael often remarks that criminal defense chose her rather than the other way around. A single summer as an intern sparked a passion for this area of practice. The initial aim to assist families evolved into a broader mission to help those in need, particularly in the emotionally and mentally taxing fields of appellate and post-conviction work. While many attorneys avoid these areas due to their demanding nature, she forms strong emotional connections with clients and their families, using these bonds to provide the most effective representation possible. Her work extends beyond aiding families, encompassing a broader commitment to support and advocate for many more.
