About Stephen G. Whetstone

Steve Whetstone, an attorney from Thornville, Ohio, comes from a family deeply rooted in community service. His family's commitment to caring for the residents of Thornville and Millersport spans over 50 years, beginning with his grandparents, who established the Whetstone Medical Clinic. Steve’s father, Dave, has continued this tradition as the long-standing owner of Thornville Pharmacy, where personalized, neighborly service is a way of life.

Steve completed his undergraduate studies at Columbus State Community College and Otterbein University before attending Capital University Law School. There, he excelled academically, graduating as valedictorian with a perfect 4.0 GPA, and had the privilege of speaking at the graduation ceremony. After law school, Steve passed the bar exam with distinction, scoring in the top 1% across the state.

In addition to his legal work, Steve is a devoted family man and an active volunteer in the alcoholism and addiction recovery community, where he dedicates his time to supporting others on their paths to recovery.
