Growing up in the Foothills of the Adirondack Mountains, Mr. Wood's competitive nature and strong work ethic led to his recognition as a New York State-ranked sprinter and soccer player. He earned his undergraduate degree in Psychology from St. Michael’s College in Burlington, Vermont, completing his studies in just three years. This background allows Mr. Wood to empathize with the emotional pain and suffering experienced by injured clients. He treats each client with compassion, recognizing that not all harms are adequately reflected in medical records. Mr. Wood works to convey the emotional impact of an injury—such as grief, distress, and the inability to provide for oneself or loved ones—to insurance companies in a compelling manner.

While studying at Western New England University School of Law, Mr. Wood gained valuable insights during a summer internship with a Fulton County Supreme and Surrogate’s Court Justice. He worked on researching and drafting decisions on various cases, from serious injury to first-degree murder and fraud in the inducement of a Last Will and Testament. After law school, Mr. Wood represented the indigent population of Fulton and Montgomery counties in civil, criminal, and family law matters. Additionally, he worked as an Associate Attorney for a small general practice firm, handling all aspects of cases from initial client contact through appeal. These experiences sharpened his ability to listen, understand, research, and effectively apply every detail of a case for the benefit of his clients.
