John J. Stanton

About John J. Stanton

Mr. Stanton was born in Inglewood, California, and raised in Whittier. He pursued higher education at California State University, Fullerton, focusing on Economics, and later earned his B.A. in Political Science from California State University, Long Beach. Mr. Stanton graduated from Southwestern Law School in 1992 with a Juris Doctorate, achieving academic recognition by earning a place on the Dean’s List and winning the American Jurisprudence Award. He also participated in international studies at Trinity College Law School in Dublin, Ireland, with a focus on Human Rights and Comparative Law.

A member of the California State Bar since 1992, Mr. Stanton is also affiliated with the Family Law and Estate Planning sections and is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court, Central District of California. Beyond his legal career, he is committed to community service, serving on the board or advising non-profits such as the With Hope Foundation, dedicated to teen suicide prevention, and Parents & Friends of St. Joseph Catholic School. He attends St. Joseph Catholic Church, where Mr. Stanton is actively engaged in his faith community.
