About Michael Teiman
Michael Korte Teiman serves as a trial attorney at Bisnar Chase, handling a broad range of negligence matters—including personal injury, government liability, wrongful death, and mass tort cases. He has been involved in plaintiff’s-side civil litigation since before attending law school.
Teiman is a committed advocate who brings substantial experience in litigating diverse cases efficiently and maximizing recoveries on behalf of his clients. Born and raised in Scottsdale, Arizona, he moved to Huntington Beach, California, at the age of fifteen and has remained a Southern California resident ever since.
His earliest professional experience was at Ruby’s Diner on the Huntington Beach pier, where he worked for more than a decade. During that time, he cultivated a strong work ethic, effective prioritization skills, and a dedication to customer service.
After earning a bachelor’s degree from Cal Poly Pomona, Teiman embarked on a seven-week backpacking trip through Europe, an experience that broadened his perspective and fostered empathy for others. Amid the 2008 financial crisis, he obtained a Master’s Degree in Education from National University with the original intent to become a teacher. However, his aspiration to practice law ultimately prevailed.
Teiman graduated from Loyola Law School in 2017, enrolling in the evening program so he could continue supporting his family while pursuing his degree. During law school, he took part in various activities, clinics, and internships, including the Center for Conflict Resolution, the Young Lawyers Program, the Human Rights Clinic, SEIU 741, and Navy JAG – Port Hueneme.
Before law school, Teiman worked at a bankruptcy law firm in Orange County until he discovered a strong interest in litigation, prompting him to join a prominent firm in Los Angeles. Since passing the bar, he has successfully managed a wide array of cases, from elder abuse and neglect to government claims, insurance bad faith, and consumer class actions.
