About Cheryl L. Walsh
Cheryl L. Walsh has dedicated her legal career to advocating for the elderly and their families. She launched the Law Office of Cheryl L. Walsh, in 1995 and relocated her firm to San Juan Capistrano in 1997. A graduate of Loyola Law School in 1991, Ms. Walsh has played an active role in the legal and elder care communities, serving on the Board of Directors for the Ventura County Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association and the Elder Law Section of the Orange County Bar Association.
Ms. Walsh has built a strong reputation as a speaker and advocate, addressing topics related to elder law at caregiver conferences, senior centers, and hospitals throughout Southern California. She has also contributed to policy initiatives, drafting and presenting legislation in 2004 to provide property tax benefits for seniors in senior living communities. Her legal experience includes successful appeals in Medi-Cal Estate Recovery, elder abuse litigation, and representation in property tax and DMV hearings. Committed to protecting the rights of older adults, she has continued to assist clients and their families since founding her firm.
