Marcy Millard, lead attorney and owner of The Millard Law Firm, guides clients through the complexities of family law litigation while managing the firm. Having experienced her own parents' divorce, she is deeply committed to addressing the challenges that children face during these cases.

Her legal career began at a small law firm in Lawrenceville, Georgia, where she gained hands-on experience in family law. She later expanded her knowledge at a medium-sized real estate litigation firm in Buckhead before establishing her own practice in 2007.

Originally from upstate New York, Marcy earned a degree in Mathematics and Education from the State University of New York at Potsdam. She went on to obtain her law degree from Georgia State College of Law in 2004.

Growing up, she experienced the impact of divorce firsthand, adjusting to a redefined family dynamic. Now a mother of two, including a child with special needs, she understands the pressures of parenting and the way family circumstances shape daily life.

Marcy draws on both her personal and professional background to support clients as they navigate the emotional and legal aspects of family law. She also helps parents understand how to ease the transition for their children during significant life changes.
