Chiege Okwara was born in the United Kingdom, raised in Nigeria, and immigrated to the United States on September 3, 1984. A proud U.S. citizen, she is living out her dream of practicing law and advocating for individuals who are often underrepresented. Passionate about litigation, Ms. Okwara embraces difficult cases and thrives in the courtroom.
She has handled matters in both federal and state courts throughout North Carolina and has presented arguments before the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. Several of her cases have resulted in published opinions. With a fearless approach and a deep commitment to justice, Ms. Okwara is known for her tenacity, clarity, and unwavering support of her clients.
