Barbara A. Castrataro founded her law firm in Chappaqua, New York with a focus on providing thoughtful guidance and personalized legal support to families navigating complex challenges. For more than 30 years, she has concentrated her practice on family law, representing clients throughout Westchester County, New York City, and nearby communities.

Known for her meticulous preparation and strong work ethic, Ms. Castrataro handles a broad range of family matters, including divorce involving substantial assets, business and property evaluations, child custody disputes, international relocation, adoption, and protective orders. She also drafts prenuptial and postnuptial agreements and advises clients on post-judgment modifications. Her background includes experience with collaborative divorce and mediation, though she is fully prepared to litigate when necessary.

Ms. Castrataro earned her Bachelor of Arts in Music from LIU Post in 1984 and went on to receive her Juris Doctor from New York Law School, where she was honored with the Moot Court Award. She was admitted to the New York State Bar and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York in 1990.
