Samantha is the founding attorney of DuMond Law Firm, with a lifelong commitment to the legal field that began in her youth and has continued to deepen over the years. She is dedicated to providing representation for those who encounter barriers to legal assistance. As she has stated, “I believe in serving the underserved and giving a voice to those who are not being heard. Everyone should be able to afford the legal representation of their choosing and have the best possible legal defense regardless of their past or current situations.”

Born and raised in Amsterdam, a small town in upstate New York known for its low graduation rate, Samantha surpassed expectations by graduating from high school with honors at age 16. She went on to major in Business Management at the University of Phoenix, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management while also obtaining an Associate’s Degree in Aviation Science from Schenectady County Community College. A few years younger than most of her peers, she began law school in the fall of 2010, enrolled in an accelerated program, and graduated cum laude from Phoenix School of Law (now Arizona Summit School of Law) in 2012.

During her time in law school, Samantha served as a Managing Editor of the Law Review, participated in a Summer Abroad program studying International Criminal Law with Creighton University School of Law, and volunteered with the Arizona Justice Project at Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law. She earned several CALI awards for outstanding performance in Evidence and Civil Procedure. Despite a demanding academic schedule, she worked full time as a Contracted Law Clerk for Trust & Estates, Criminal Defense, and Civil Litigation firms, and held a part-time position as a Bail Bond Agent on weekends.
