Richard Rizk, senior attorney at Rizk Law, has built his career on resilience, advocacy, and a deep commitment to justice. Born in Manhattan to immigrant and working-class parents, his early years took him from a small Bronx apartment to the remote jungles of Guyana, where his family operated a makeshift medical clinic. These formative experiences instilled in him a profound sense of perseverance. Overcoming childhood bullying and a speech impediment, Richard developed a deep empathy for the underdog—an outlook that would shape his legal career.

After earning his law degree from Lewis & Clark Law School in Portland, Richard gained invaluable experience working for major insurance firms before founding Rizk Law. His firm is dedicated to protecting individuals against powerful entities, ensuring that those facing adversity have a strong and principled advocate on their side. A longtime Portland resident, Richard continues to champion fairness, equity, and community well-being, making the city his true home.
